On behalf of the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children(DFWAC), The International Society for Child Abuse and Neglect(ISPCAN) and The Arab Society for Prevention Child Abuse and Neglect it is our proud privilege and immense pleasure to invite you to the 5th Arab Regional Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect. The Conference is scheduled to be held on November 19-22, 2017 at Dubai, the most enchanting and the most multicultural city in the World. The theme of the Conference,”From legislation to implementation” is very timely, as many countries in the Arab region, and also elsewhere in the developing world, are in the process of establishing and strengthening structured national child protection systems. The Scientific Committee is striving hard to put together an interesting program, consisting of key note speeches, plenary sessions, symposia, seminars, free papers sessions and skills building workshops. The Conference will focus on the latest advances on scientific front in the field of child abuse and neglect also share best practices and multi-disciplinary approaches to the prevention and response to all forms of violence against children.
We expect a large contingent of local, regional and international delegates, including representatives from WHO, UNICEF and other international organizations, to be part of this academic activity. The participants will learn and benefit from the scientific exchange with experts which will go a long way in disseminating the latest development in the field of child abuse and neglect. This will also be an occasion to meet and network with multidisciplinary colleagues from all over the world paving the way for future collaboration and joint action to combat all forms of violence against children.
