The theme of the Conference,”From legislation to implementation” is very timely, as many countries in the Arab region, and also elsewhere in the developing world, are in the process of establishing and strengthening structured national child protection systems. The Scientific Committee is striving hard to put together an interesting program, consisting of key note speeches, plenary sessions, symposia, seminars, free papers sessions and skills building workshops. The participants will learn and benefit from the scientific exchange with experts which will go a long way in disseminating the latest development in the field of child abuse and neglect.
